Prom Is Short For Promenade

Gabby had an opportunity this year to go to her first Prom. She was asked to go by Trent Raff to his Senior Prom at Minico High School. They spent the morning golfing and shooting clay pigeons (with adult supervision, thank goodness). After lunch Trent brought Gabby home to get ready for the big night.

Laurie Nelson, who did Gabby's hair quipped "how many people does it take to get one girl ready for the Prom?" In our case it was about seven. Laurie and Cheyenna on hair, I did makeup and final preparations, Samantha and Katie took pictures, then of course we had Courtney and Ally who wanted to be a part of the organized caos but mostly just got to watch. The end result was fabulous, Gabby was simply stunning in her modest floor length gold gown. Trent, whom we love, was handsome as usual.

With over ten people watching, they were a little embarrassed.

Pinning the Boutinere proved to be a little interesting, thank goodness she didn't draw blood.

The corsage was beautiful!

They made an amazing couple. Somebody call The Ford Modeling Agency

The evening date was just as fun as the day date. They ate dinner at a restuarant with a group of Trents friends, attended the Prom, watched a movie and just enjoyed each others company.

Ahh to be young again!
