Five Days Later.....What Was I Thinking?

Sure! She looked innocent enough when she was eight months old and it was only a doll's head in her mouth. Her sisters would beg to differ any more, being that they are usually the ones on the recieving end of the doll eating Ally.....



Ally turns nine today! Happy Birthday Ally! She has learned alot this past year. Two words that weren't in her vocabulary until only recently. Tact is one of them, she's picking up on it as she goes. Before, she would just spew out any random thought that came into her head. Not understanding that we can't really say everything that we are thinking, it might hurt someones feelings. The other new word is "Provoke" as in, "Ally it's not nice to provoke your brother until he cries". Or "Ally, if you keep provoking your sister she is going to squash you like a bug!" But the nice thing about having new words in your vocabulary is that you get to use them yourself, such as; (Ally) "Mom did you see that? Courtney was provoking me, that's why I kicked her!"

But seriously....she really is my Princess. She was always the one that would get angry with me and five seconds later offer an apoligetic "I love you mom". We have our days, especially with homeschooling. More days than not Ally wants to play or watch tv rather than do school work and keeping her on task is almost a full time job, but I wouldn't trade this wonderful time that we have together. My Ally, Braden and I. We are sure going to miss her when she starts fourth grade (in public school, yes, I love her but I'm not a glutton for punishment).
