Okay, Ally, Here It Is

Ally has been bugging me for over a week now to post her "birthday post" on my blog.  I feel bad that I am just now getting to it, but I told her that the reason I posted Gabby's post so promptly was because Gabby had been gone for ten days to Tennessee and South Carolina and that I had missed her.  I also told Ally that she hadn't given me a chance to miss her yet.  Sometimes I don't think my kids appreciate my logic.  :)

Well, Ally is gone to a sleep over tonight and as I started thinking about  her constant chatter that tells me all about her day, I started to miss her.  And then I remembered this post.

My mischevious Ally turned eleven this year.  She invited her cousin Devan, that looks nearly identical to her, to come and spend a couple of days.  They played and laughed and had a great time.

 

When I asked both her and Devan (who is three days older than Ally) if eleven felt any different than ten, they looked at each other and agreed, "nah". 

I'm not surprised.....

Somedays, I still feel ten.
