Isn't it great that real life intrudes on our fantasy every now and again? Brings us back to this orb we call earth.
I wouldn't call my life idealic by any stretch of the imagination, but I do believe that, for the most part things are going along smoothly enough.....
Well, except for the past few months....those don't count, do they?
Most of April has been spent trying to keep my computer running and barely succeeding until the eventual Computer Crash of 2009. Two things are non-negotiable where I live, A car and A Computer. I live too far from civilization and human contact to go without it completely on a daily basis, hence the computer. It gives me an outlet into the outside world. After a month spent trying to de-bug my system on my own I get a warning, a blue screen and totally locked out of my computer. Thankfully, we have a guy in our ward that does computers on the side. He had it fixed in less than 24 hours and now I'm back in business, only better. I don' t have to fight with my computer everytime I turn it on. Ahhhh, le sigh!
And then there are taxes......enough said!
Add to that settlements, the need to buy a couple of lawn mowers, Prom, and all of lifes little expenses and yep, you guessed it......financial stress.
Hormones (not just mine), back pain (residual from the accident), worry for my daughter (too many things to mention), cold weather that keeps me inside most days and I'm an emotional basketcase.
But with problems come eventual solutions and answers. April has been taxing for many reasons (ha, get it, taxing?) And I am finding my answers. Through prayer, time or hard work, they always come. So here's to hoping May brings flowers and sunshine into my life cause I could really use it.
