The Cutest Little "Ugly" Tree I've Ever Seen

For the first twelve years of our marriage every year at Christmastime Larry would say:  "We should get a live Christmas tree this year".  And every year I was fine with the gigantic fake tree we bought our second Christmas together.  Our houses were small and cozy at Christmastime and I would buy a live wreath to hang on the door to bring in the that yummy fir tree smell.

About five years ago we moved to a new house.  A HUGE house.  A house with four floors (I'd never heard of a quad~level house).  And since our house was now so large we actually had need of another tree to spread the Christmas decor throughout the house.  We started buying Larry's LIVE Christmas tree!  And I'm glad we did,  I didn't realize how much I'd missed the delicious smell of Pine and how much it added to the ambiance of this time of year.

This year my only wish for our tree was that it be a "Charlie Brown" tree.  We found the *perfect* tree only yesterday.  The kids all abhorred it, Larry laughed at it, and I lovingly named him "Tree".  In my humble opinion, he turned out lovely.

The End
