He wasn't "officially" five on July 14th until he blew his candles out on his cake. At least that's what he said. And then the other day walking in the parking lot at McDonalds he said "Mom, I'm five, I don't have to hold your hand in the parking lot anymore." I guess if you say so bud. Mom still sneaks in a hand hold when he's not paying attention. Is he really five? Has it really been five years since my baby was born? It feels like yesterday.
Oh this breaks my heart- no more hand holding! Good for you for getting one in on occasion ;) Wow time flies too fast as a parent!
