Home Sick

Not homesick like I would be if I were away from home for too long.....but home sick.  As in nowhere else to go cause I am just plain sick.

The whole family went to Mt Home without me today for a memorial day barbeque.  I was so okay with it.  A whole afternoon to sleep and rest.  I laid down at noon thinking I would just sleep for a good two hours.  Five hours later I wake up feeling slightly better, but now the chills are coming back, the headache, fever, coughing, runny nose....I don't know what afflicts me, some kind of virus maybe?  Whatever it is, I haven't been this down  and out for I don't know how long. 

This afternoon after I woke up from my long nap I thought I was feeling well enough to treat myself to Dairy Queen.  I drove the fifteen minutes to Burley ordered a blizzard and shrimp basket for dinner.  Took two bites of each and threw them in the trash.  I guess I wasn't as better as I thought I was.

Now that I've had my quiet time, I am missing my little family.  Even when I'm sick, or maybe especially because I'm sick, I want the comfort of their noise, their bodies in my house, their sweet ministerings.  Soon enough they'll be here. 

I have one more movie to watch making the total two for the day and a five hour nap.  Boy I feel productive.
